about psychedelic medicines:
Psychedelic therapy represents a paradigm shift in mental health treatment, offering holistic healing that integrates the psychological, spiritual, and divine dimensions of human experience. These therapeutic modalities hold promise in addressing various mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse disorders, and trauma-related issues. They can help change the way we see and experience ourselves, the world around us, as well as our past, present and future.
Unlike traditional psychiatric medications, psychedelics appear to work through distinct mechanisms that help rewire our brains to help our minds begin to function differently. The experiences in medicine are sometimes calm and underwhelming and they are also sometimes deep and profound. Regardless of what happens during the session, the alteration in brain function can lead to profound shifts in perception and cognition, enabling individuals to gain new insights into their struggles and challenges.
While further research and integration into mainstream healthcare are ongoing, the potential of psychedelic therapy to catalyze profound personal transformation and societal well-being is increasingly recognized and embraced more and more with each day that passes.
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) offers a unique approach to mental health treatment by incorporating the careful administration of ketamine with psychotherapy. It involves the combined care of a medical provider and a KAP trained psychotherapist.
Ketamine has been used in the medical field for several decades. It is a safe when taken as prescribed.
KAP can involve engaging in supportive dialogue during individual or couples therapy. At higher doses, clients usually wear and eye mask and enjoy gentle guidance through music during which time they are not verbal. These settings can facilitate profound emotional processing and personal growth.
Studies and clinical trials have demonstrated the efficacy of ketamine in providing relief for people with mental health struggles. It sometimes results in relief of symptoms in as few as 1-6 sessions.
It also provides for the opportunity to participate in psychotherapy in a newer, calmer, or deeper way.
Some clients experience a profound mystical experience while on Ketamine.
Ketamine is a beautiful medicine. It can support quick medical relief of symptoms, as well as a deep spiritual experience.
Psilocybin Assisted Therapy
Psilocybin-assisted therapy combines controlled doses of the psychedelic psilocybin mushrooms with psychotherapy to facilitate deep introspection and emotional processing.
Under the careful watch of a trained guide, individuals experience altered states of consciousness, potentially leading to deep psychological healing and personal growth. Individuals have the opportunity to delve into the depths of their psyche, confronting unresolved wonders, wounds and beliefs.
It is a wonderful tool for spiritual exploration, deeper understanding of self, increased self love, empathy for others and greater understanding of life’s many mysteries.
Mushroom journeys often lead to emotional catharsis, personal insights, and transformative healing experiences, paving the way for greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, and psychological growth.
Mushrooms are a wonderful natural medicine from the earth.
Group ceremonies
Group psychedelic journeys offer a unique array of benefits that extend beyond individual experiences. Through participating in a group setting, individuals cultivate a profound sense of connection and support, fostering camaraderie and solidarity.
This shared experience facilitates emotional validation and a sense of belonging. Group discussions before and after the psychedelic experience enable the exchange of diverse perspectives, insights, and interpretations, enriching each participant's understanding of self and other, and a deepening of insights gained.
By engaging in group psychedelic journeys, individuals contribute to reducing stigma surrounding psychedelics, mental health, and healing, fostering open dialogue and community support.
As participants navigate their individual journeys, the collective energy and intention of the group often amplify healing processes, promoting emotional release and a heightened sense of interconnectedness.
Guides will also offer ongoing support and resources that ensure the experience contributes positively to personal growth and well-being.
INTEGRATION and Why It Matters:
Integration is the process of making sense of and incorporating the insights, emotions, and experiences from psychedelic sessions into one's daily life. While the psychedelic experience itself can be awe-inspiring and profound, its true value lies in how it shapes our thoughts, behaviors, and relationships afterward. Without proper integration, the potential for lasting change may be limited. Rachel is more than happy to support clients and interested parties through further education and integration support as they explore their own personal use of psychedelic practices.
It is essential to recognize that psychedelic-assisted therapy is not a standalone solution and it is not for everyone.
Positively, ceremonies do allow for tailored treatment plans that account for each individual's unique needs and circumstances.
If you're struggling with mental health challenges and seeking a novel therapeutic approach, or if you are simply wanting to grow and expand, ketamine-assisted therapy or psilocybin assisted therapy could offer a pathway towards healing and transformation. Click here to start a conversation!
a note about experience:
Rachel has experienced many medicine journeys. When finding a psychedelic guide, you want someone who has been there and knows the landscape well.
You dont want someone who has just read books about the concepts, but someone who has themselves been in it. Someone who knows the positives and the potential challenges well. Rachel can answer questions, encourage you, and support you as she has done the work herself.

the legal stuff:
Psychedelic healing is an emerging and carefully regulated field. Ketamine has been FDA-approved and legally prescribed for decades, most commonly for anesthesia and, more recently, for mental health treatment. At Wild Glow, we work with ketamine in a safe, therapeutic context that is fully legal and recognized.
In Colorado, new legislation (Natural Medicine Health Act) is expanding access to other psychedelic therapies. The Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) is now licensing trained facilitators to ensure these services are provided safely and ethically.
Our founder, Rachel Snitowsky LCSW, is Licensed Psilocybin Facilitator (#160), has completed state-approved 150 hour training and is part of the first ever cohort of facilitators in Colorado. Wild Glow is in the process of becoming a licensed healing center, so we can officially host these services and continue offering care that is both legally compliant and deeply supportive.
