My Methods and Training:
Individual Therapy:
My approach to individual therapy is rooted in the belief that healing and growth begin with a strong therapeutic relationship. I use a blend of therapeutic methods tailored to each client’s needs, including:
Attachment Work: Understanding how early relationships influence your current patterns, helping you create healthier connections and a deeper sense of security.
Internal Family Systems (IFS): Exploring the parts of you that hold pain, fear, or shame, and working to integrate them into a more harmonious whole.
Psychodynamic Therapy: Gently uncovering and processing unconscious patterns that may be shaping your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
Non-Directive Approach: Allowing the therapy space to be led by your unique needs and inner wisdom.
Trauma-Informed Care: Ensuring a safe and supportive environment that respects your experiences and honors your resilience.
Feminist Therapy: Highlighting the ways that societal systems impact your lived experience and empowering you to reclaim your voice and agency.
I believe in walking the path I invite my clients to walk. I’ve done significant therapy myself, which has deepened my empathy, understanding, and ability to guide others through their own healing journeys.
Couples Therapy:
For couples, I draw heavily from two transformative approaches: The Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
The Gottman Method
The Gottman Method is a research-based approach that focuses on:
Building a deeper emotional connection.
Managing conflict with respect and understanding.
Creating shared meaning and strengthening friendship and intimacy.
I guide couples through practical tools and exercises to improve communication, rebuild trust, and foster long-term connection. Whether you’re navigating recurring conflicts or wanting to deepen your relationship, the Gottman Method provides a clear path to thriving together.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
EFT centers on identifying and transforming negative interaction patterns while creating a secure emotional bond. Through EFT, couples:
Learn to recognize and share their deepest feelings and needs.
Build trust and emotional safety.
Reconnect in ways that create lasting change.
By combining these methods with attachment work and a trauma-informed lens, I help couples address the underlying dynamics that may be keeping them stuck.
Psychedelic Therapy:
Psychedelic therapy offers a profound opportunity for healing and transformation. My approach is rooted in ceremony, respecting the sacred and therapeutic potential of these experiences.
I am part of the inaugural cohort of facilitators licensed by DORA, trained in creating safe and supportive spaces for psychedelic journeys. I was the 160th License in Colorado to ever be assigned for Natrual Medicine Facilitation! My training emphasizes preparation, integration, and the ethical, responsible use of these tools.
What to Expect:
Preparation: We’ll work together to set clear intentions and create a foundation of trust.
Ceremony: The sessions are held in a ceremonial context, providing structure and reverence for the experience.
Integration: After the journey, we’ll process insights and emotions, ensuring they become meaningful parts of your life.
I combine my therapeutic expertise with a deep respect for the transformative nature of psychedelic experiences, guiding clients through a process that honors their unique path to healing.
Your journey is unique, and my role is to meet you where you are with empathy, knowledge, and support. Together, we’ll create a space for healing, growth, and transformation—whether through individual therapy, couples therapy, or the ceremonial work of psychedelics.
